UEFA has decided to suspend the red card sent Tuesday by the referee of PSG – Basaksehir to Pierre Webo, the assistant coach of the Istanbul club, who accused the fourth referee of racist remarks.
Pierre Webo will be present on Wednesday evening at the Parc des Princes on the Istanbul Basaksehir bench when the match resumes. Champions League facing PSG. After a first warning, Pierre Webo was excluded after vehemently protesting against the remarks made towards him by the fourth referee of the match, the former Galatasaray player accusing Sebastian Coltescu of having made racist remarks. “The black man over there, go see who he is”, he thus launched, adding: “The black, the black”.
UEFA will decide after an investigation whether the red card addressed to the former Cameroonian international should be maintained or canceled. The investigation was opened in order to precisely determine the conditions of the administration of this red card.
