Surprised by PSG (2-3) on their lawn, Bayern Munich also suffered two new necessarily problematic injuries for the return match.
The Bayern Munich had a nightmarish evening, Wednesday, facing the PSG. The fault, in particular, to the clumsiness of his attackers and the recitals of Keylor Navas and Kylian Mbappé, at both ends of the field. But the defeat conceded against the champions of France (2-3) in the quarter-finals of the Champions League was not the only bad news recorded by the Bavarians.

To this setback, which necessarily hypothesizes the qualifying chances of the title holders, were in fact added two injuries. The first came shortly after the half hour of play. Feeling pain in the thigh, Leon goretzka had to give up his position to Alphonso davies, not without a few minutes of hesitation which prompted Joshua Kimmich to harangue his trainer, Hans-Dieter Flick. And a few minutes later it was the turn of Niklas Süle to leave the lawn, this time replaced by Jerome boateng.
And his changes did little to help the German champions’ designs. Evidenced by the lack of liveliness displayed by the German central defender against Kylian Mbappé on the third Parisian goal. Asked at the end of the meeting, the Bavarian coach mentioned “Muscle injuries” for the two men without being able to say more about the seriousness of these injuries. However, it is unlikely that either can be restored for the second leg scheduled in five days. According to RMC Sport, the package of the German central defender is already acquired. And this while Bayern will again be deprived of Robert Lewandwski, Serge Gnabry, Corentin Tolisso and Douglas Costa.
