At the end of the contract in June 2022, Marcel Sabitzer could leave Leipzig to join Tottenham and José Mourinho.
According to the German daily Bild, the Austrian international, Marcel sabitzer could leave in the coming months on RB Leipzig to join Tottenham. The attacking midfielder’s contract ends in June 2022 and the negotiations for an extension would stall. The club would not like to see him go free, and could thus transfer him in order to recover financial compensation.
The player would be a great admirer of José Mourinho and Spurs have reportedly already made contact with those close to him. The Austrian joined RB Leipzig in 2015-2016 and has known all levels with the club, even the German second division.
For the moment, no amount has been communicated but everything seems to indicate a departure of the player. Note that Leipzig has already recruited its replacement: Dominik szoboszlai.
