This time, Clément Turpin had nothing to do with it and the Portuguese coach could only see the damage. “Today, we have nothing to say. We were very bad in the first half. We came back well in second but we made too many mistakes before which allowed Angers to lead ”, he admitted at the end of the meeting at a press conference.
And the former Chelsea coach to regret the level of play displayed by his troops. “In the last three games, we haven’t reached our goal. We were not up to par. It’s a bad way to end the year, especially since our opponents in the standings have done the job. We collapsed at the end of the year. Maybe because of fatigue, mental fatigue. We lacked concentration. This is the first thing that we have to improve upon recovery ”, he added, already turned towards a particularly plentiful month of January. And this while OM are only in fifth place, eight lengths from the two leading teams with nevertheless still two games late.
