In association with InStat, the Football Observatory is publishing this Monday a ranking of the best players in Europe – League by League in particular.
The CIES Football Observatory echoes this Monday the performance index developed by the company InStat. A football scale determined by the performance of players from 32 European leagues, their playing time, their technical skills and the difficulty of the championship in which they play. Nearly 10,000 elements were thus scrutinized to establish at the beginning of the week a hierarchy dominated by … Lionel messi.
Overall, with an index of 405, La Pulga is ahead of Neymar (381) and Robert lewandowski (371), each of these players therefore enthroned in his championship. Then come seven representatives of the Premier League to complete the continental Top 10: Joao Cancelo (368), Rodri Hernandez (366), Kevin de Bruyne (366), Riyad Mahrez (365), Jesse Lingard (358), Ilkay Gündogan (357 ) and Jack Grealish (356).
