Tipped to become the new coach of PSG, Maurico Pochettino has already agreed with the Parisian leaders on the outline of his contract.
Mentioned since leaving Tottenham, in the summer of 2019, the arrival of Mauricio Pochettino at the PSG seems only a matter of hours. In the wake of the quiet victory won against Strasbourg (4-0), the Parisian leaders have indeed informed Thomas Tuchel of his dismissal six months from the end of his contract while they were conducting discussions with the Argentine technician.

And according to Infosport +, the two parties are now close to agreeing. There would indeed remain only a few details to settle. For the rest, an agreement has already been reached on the basis of a one-and-a-half-year contract with an optional additional season in the event of qualification for the Champions League.
And according to Diario Gol, the Parisian leaders did not look at the expense to convince the former defender of the club of the capital since the Argentinian should receive nearly 12 million euros in annual salary from the Rouge et Bleu, or more or less the double what Thomas Tuchel perceived in Paris. However, it is much less than what Newcastle were ready to offer him if the takeover by a Saudi consortium had been finalized or what he had asked Juventus Turin before the Turin leaders favored the track leading to Andrea Pirlo, namely some 20 million euros per year.
