Beaten in Colomiers, Perpignan took advantage of a bonus point snatched at the very end of the match to take the lead in Pro D2. Biarritz won at Oyonnax to get closer to the podium while at the back, Soyaux Angoulême and Valence Romans won.
By winning against Montauban (14-10), Valence Romans won their first match in three months. During this meeting counting for the fifth day of Pro D2, the Drôme club made the difference in the first period. Thanks to penalties from Javaux and a try from Lacour, the score was 14-0 at the break. In the second act, the red lantern resisted despite the try of Stirzaker transformed by Caminati before the hour mark. The Montauban striker added just three more points. Not enough to call into question the good operation of Valence Romans.

In Oyonnax, a test by Francis Sailli was enough to offer a prestigious victory in Biarritz (15-19). The New Zealander scored the game’s only try. The foot of Yohan Le Bourhis did not allow Oyonnax to avoid a second consecutive defeat. The club based in Ain is however one of the favorites to climb to the Top 14 but on the BO side, Gilles Bosch has also done the work to pass his penalties. In the other late match of the sixth day of Pro D2, Carcassonne defeated Stade Montois (17-16). It was a penalty from Romuald Seguy eight minutes from the siren that made the difference.

In Colomiers, Perpignan went for the point of the defensive bonus to take the lead in Pro D2 alone. In a team that remains on a series of 17 games without defeat at home, the Catalans took advantage of a penalty from Melvyn Jaminet at the very end of the game not to leave empty-handed. This Tuesday evening, it is only the Perpignan striker who scored points for USAP. After a first period where only the scorers stood out, Colomiers forwards made the difference in the second half. They pushed the USAP players to the fault to go into the in-goal at each of their highlights. A penalty try in the 55th and Anthony Coletta ten minutes later after a long series of pick and go allowed Colomiers to offer himself the leader of the Pro D2.
