Negotiations are progressing between Napoli and Olympique de Marseille.
TheOlympic Marseille is active during this winter transfer window. After attracting the Spanish right-back Pol Lirola, on loan from Fiorentina, the leaders of Marseille have resumed the quest which has been theirs for several years, that of the famous great striker.
OM is exploring several avenues, including those leading to Jean-Philippe Mateta (Frankfurt) and Vincent Aboubakar (Besiktas). But that does not mean that the file Arkadiusz Milik is closed.
Several million euros difference …
Negotiations are however complex, as expected, with the demanding President Aurelio De Laurentiis. The boss of Napoli indeed claims no less than 15 million euros for the Polish striker. A high sum, because the player will be at the end of the contract in six months. And OM would have proposed a much more reasonable amount, estimated at 6 or 7 million euros.
The agreement therefore seems quite far away, even if Napoli have slightly revised their requirements downwards. According to Corriere dello Sport, OM would have to offer a little more than 10 million euros to convince the Italian club. Various bonuses could be included in the operation in order to approximate the amount claimed by Partenopei. Is it in the strings of OM?
