The leaders of AS Saint-Etienne could have difficulty convincing William Saliba to return to France in the winter transfer window.
In the hard at Arsenal since the start of the current sports exercise, the French central defender, aged only 19, should be on loan until the end of the season. Having not taken part in any minute of play with the team in Premier League, William saliba absolutely wants to relaunch his young career within a new formation.
Saliba wants to stay in England
Tied to the Gunners until 2024, the French Under-20 international is still unsettled about his future. Mikel Arteta, Arsenal coach, recently announced that a departure is on the agenda and that discussions have been initiated in this case. Knowing perfectly the interest of Saint-Etienne, his training club, William Saliba could however choose to join a British club according to information from the team. In order to gain experience, the central defender would give priority to a departure in the direction of one of his many English contenders.
