This Monday noon, the pilot was present in a recorded video, during the presentation of his current team, namely Repsol Honda, and the launch of the RC213V 2021. On this occasion, the champion took the opportunity to give his news , confident that he was not yet ready to return to business.
In comments shared by The team, he declared in particular: “ You have to go step by step. I’m getting better and better. Most importantly, my recovery is on track. From now on, every time I go to the doctor I have good news, whereas it was not at all the case last year. But now I just want to try and listen to my body. I don’t know, and neither do the doctors, when I’m ready. But the most important thing is that I feel better from week to week. I’m optimistic to be on a motorcycle as soon as possible but don’t know the exact day yet. “
Still, the six-time MotoGP world champion, who has been relatively discreet in recent months, will not be present during the start of the season tests, which will take place on the Qatar side.
