The 2020 Jets will not be tied for the worst record in franchise history. After an 0-13 start to the season, it’s stunning to believe they are in this position. A few weeks ago the Jets were perfectly aligned to have the top pick in the 2021 NFL Draft and end up with a franchise quarterback in Trevor Lawrence. Today, a week before the season ends, the Jets have now lost Lawrence, clinching the second pick, no matter what happens in Week 17. Two weeks with two wins over teams that both should be in the playoffs. Only in 2020, man.

• We have seen enough of Darnold at this point. The bar is set really low that a 50% completion rate and no turnovers is considered a great game for him. Chance he stays here one more year though.
• Quarterbacks will shoot up the draft charts in first few months of 2021. It happens every year. Happened with Kyler Murray.
• 1996 Jets team still holds the worst record in franchise history. 2-14 would be unique. No Jets team has ever had that record.
• Thoughts on a 17-game NFL season next year and what it will mean. Less preseason games will be good.
