After three consecutive defeats in a Jeep Elite, Boulogne-Levallois regained the taste for victory, by disposing of Chalon-sur-Saône by the score of 88-80.
Finally a victory for Boulogne-Levallois! The Ile-de-France club remained on six consecutive defeats in all competitions (Jeep Elite, Coupe de France and Eurocoupe) and took advantage of an advanced match of the 28th day of Jeep Elite to regain the taste of victory, against Chalon-sur- Saone. The Metropolitans won 88-80, after a generally well-controlled match. They won the first quarter 24-22, then after seeing Elan pass in the second, they took advantage of an 8-0 to reach the locker room leading 45-41.
On resumption, Boulogne-Levallois signed a 7-0 to widen the gap, but Chalon managed to return to -2 (59-57) in the 28th (62-60 at the end of the quarter). In the last quarter, the Ile-de-France residents have always been between three and eight points ahead, managing to widen the gap again as soon as the Elan came back too close. It is therefore in the end an eight point victory, where Tomer Ginat had a preponderant part, with 15 points and 7 rebounds. Myles Hesson’s 21 points were not enough for Chalon, twelfth in the standings while Boulogne-Levallois is sixth.
