Because after Sergio Ramos, it’s Raphael Varane who should leave Real Madrid. The tricolor world champion has only one year of contract with the Merengue and seems decided not to extend his lease at Casa Bianca, ready to take up a new challenge. Long questioned at the microphone of Onda Cero, Thursday evening, Florentino Perez has also clearly summarized the situation. “We haven’t spoken with him yet. It is at the Euro. He has one year of contract left and we have not received an offer for Varane. He is a gentleman, if he wants to stay he will stay, otherwise he will leave ”, he confided, thus opening the door to his departure.
Raphaël Varane’s departure appears all the more likely as the former Lensois has no shortage of suitors. According to the Spanish press, two clubs have already expressed their interest to the vice-captain of the Blues: the PSG and Manchester United. The Red Devils would have even made it one of the priorities of their summer recruiting and could quickly take action. Given the Frenchman’s contractual situation, a check for 50 million euros could be enough to do business with the Madrid leaders.
