The Bundesliga club appointed Switzerland’s Christian Gross as their new coach on Sunday.
And three! After David Wagner and Manuel Baum, dismissed on December 18, Schalke 04 will know a new coach this season. The Gelsenkirchen club have chosen Christian Gross to help the last of the standings out of the red zone.
The Swiss technician, 66 years old, knows the German Championship after an experience in Stuttgart but which goes back more than 10 years (2009-2010). He was also known on the bench of Tottenham (1997-1998) and more extensively in his country at FC Basel (1999-2009).
The next meeting of the Ruhr team, 4 points in 13 matches, is scheduled for Saturday January 2 on the ground of Hertha Berlin (14e day).
