Despite scoring 67 points or fewer in their past four games and five of their first seven games to open the season, the Clemson Tigers are off to a 6-1 start and will look to keep their success going on Tuesday at home against Florida State.

Florida State has a unique 6-foot-9 point guard in freshman Scottie Barnes, and while he’s chipping in 10.7 points and 4.2 assists per game, his 41.7 percent free-throw shooting and 26.7 percent 3-point shooting percentage are far from ideal.
Coach Leonard Hamilton’s Seminoles will look to second- and third-chance opportunities to generate offense against a Tigers team that is 186th in the nation in defensive rebound percentage. Florida State ranks 21st among Division I teams in the percentage of missed shots that lead to an offensive rebound.
With Clemson ranking seventh in the nation for coach Brad Brownell in the percentage of their possessions on defense in which they force a turnover and 15th on opponents field goal shooting percentage, points figure to be at a premium in a slow and grimy game.
