Elected MVP of the Jeep Elite in 2019, David Holston has decided to extend the adventure with Dijon. The American leader has extended his contract with the JDA for two more seasons, until June 2023.
David Holston is not decided to leave Burgundy. Through a press release, JDA Dijon confirmed that its American leader, who arrived in 2015 and returned in 2018 after a short stint with the Turkish club Samsun, has extended his contract for two more seasons, a commitment valid until June 2023.
The native of Pontiac, who went to Chicago State University before starting his professional career in Turkey and then passing through Germany and the Artland Dragons before joining Dijon, has already left his mark on the Jeep Elite and Dijon, with the title of MVP of the championship won in 2019, two selections for the All-Star Game of the LNB in 2018 and 2019, a third place in the Champions League last season, a few months after a first title, the Leaders Cup. His performances since the start of the season with JDA, second in the Jeep Elite standings with 18 wins for four losses, are exemplary (14.9 points and 5.5 assists on average per game).
