The legend Gianluigi Buffon would have used blasphemous words on the lawn of Parma last weekend, according to the Italian federation which opened an investigation.
This is a case that would not have to be in France, for example. During the large victory of the Juventus Turin in Parma (0-4) last Saturday, Gianluigi Buffon allegedly used a blasphemous expression when addressing his teammate Manolo Portanova.
The cameras could not capture the footage from the scene, but an audio recording enabled the Italian Federation to open an investigation. “The investigation will serve to clarify the situation through the possibility of listening to the person concerned”, thus indicated the Italian federation.
A suspension match?
As a reminder, in Italy, the actors in the field are exposed to sanctions in the event of comments considered as a lack of respect for God or the sacred. Recently, Roma midfielder Bryan Cristante paid the price. This one was suspended a match for blasphemy after scoring against his camp.
