The Alpine team on Thursday presented the first pictures of a temporary version of the eagerly awaited Formula 1.
The first images of a Formula 1 are always eagerly awaited. We scrutinize the line, the general appearance, before observing the muzzle, the fins, the cockpit… The new single-seater of the Renault F1 team, renamed Alpine F1 Team, was eagerly awaited after a few images leaked on the Web. This Thursday, two days after the appointment of Laurent Rossi to replace Cyril Abiteboul as general manager of the Alpine brand, the F1 team released some pictures. These are neither the colors nor the car from 2021 but a “winter livery” whose black color is a tribute to the A500 F1 prototype of 1975.
“Certain structuring graphic elements will remain on the racing livery and others will evolve. The “oversize” Alpine emblem and its tricolor graphic approach is the first strong symbol of the brand’s identity in competition. Blue, white and red refer to the colors of the French and English flags, which is very important to us. Many variations on all competing activities are yet to come, ”explains Antony Villain, Alpine Design Director.
This F1 will be driven by the duo Fernando Alonso and Esteban Ocon. The official presentation of the car will take place in February.
